I.M.B. Architects was created in 1983 in Bilbao. Its three founders develop the profession since 1979. The current team joins 8 architects, 1 master builder, 3 design draughtsmen, administration and potential partners.
I.M.B. Architects was created in 1983 in Bilbao. Its three founders develop the profession since 1979. The current team joins 8 architects, 1 master builder, 3 design draughtsmen, administration and potential partners. Its work key feature is based on the architectural proposal quality, as shown in the high number of assigments obtained in professional competitions. Another main feature is the public character of its work: 90% of it is developed for the public Administration.
We feel deeply motivated by the possibility of developing an attractive proposal in each assignment. The architectural competitions we take part in are those who arise our passion for this profession. Therefore, we likewise submit proposals in the competition of a small square in Granada to articulate the new and the old city (1st prize) as in the competition to design the Seafront of the city of Santiago de Cuba (1st prize).
Moreover, our company counts on young values to complement our extensive experience.
